Well, a lot has happened since I have had the chance to update:
- He moved to an open crib, which means he is trying to monitor his own body temp. Not sure how well he is at that, but it's working.
-As of last night he weighed 4lb9oz which is great!
-He is now able to bottle or breast feed for every other feeding. So, he eats 8 times a day and everyother time I can feed him or they will give him a bottle. He is getting milk from me when he tries, but he has yet to get a "full feeding" from me.
So the new prayer request would be that he is able to take a full feeding from me. A lot of this has to do with stamina and him just being so little that he doesn't have the energy. Also pray for logistics with Baker and balance in our relationship with him.
God is totally giving us peace that surpasses understanding and we are very proud of Beau. He is a warrior and fighter! Thank you all so much!

Hi Becky, we have several mutual friends who have told me about your son in the NICU; I also go to TCABC and I work in the EOPC at Saint Francis. I have been meaning to catch you while I was working, but since you all have been in the family room, I haven't had a chance to watch for you. I want you to know that I am praying for your family and hope to meet you soon!! Mandy Beam
ReplyDeleteBecky and Brian, we are all so thankful for your sweet little miricle and have been rejoicing with you and praying for you too. We will pray for his stamina and also for sweet Baker. We also lift you and Brian up to the Lord today. You need rest too and we pray God will bless you with all three. Love you. Kathy and Walter.
