I dare to type that we might finally be adjusting a bit better to four children. Whoever wrote that article on Facebook that said four children is easier than three children was lying. Just so you know. I have been wanting to blog for oh... 3 months, but it's hard to find a quiet moment. Literally. So here are my jumbled and backed up thoughts:
I just want to say that having a daughter is wonderful. It has far surpassed any expectations I held. Everyday I say thank you to God for blessing us with her. Brian and I STILL can't believe the Lord gave us a girl. I am so glad we tried for #4.

When I often dreamed of having a daughter it was for those big moments like planning a wedding with her, being there when she has a baby, going for lunch and pedicures but this... this 9 months has been fantastic enough for me!
Charis loves her daddy, which I love. I was a Daddy's girl and I desired that relationship for Brian. It's not the same as having boys...we can tell that already.
If you ever need to pick her out of the crowd, she will be the one with the obnoxious yet appropriate bow. Over and over I hear, "she looks JUST like her brothers". Comments like that only add to our diligence with bows.

Charis is sooo sweet. She is holding true to her name of "grace which affords joy, pleasure, delight, sweetness, favor." That IS what she brings to us.

She is an extremely happy baby. She only fusses if she is late for her nap. Aside from the one day she spent at Disney World. She had a bad day there! My mom was carrying her and a young couple walked by and Brian heard them say "who takes a BABY to Disney World"? We do! She was Free! It's our new favorite inside joke, which I guess isn't so inside now. Anyways, she screamed a lot that day, but the rest of us had fun.
I am trying to learn how to go with the flow with her. She is a terrible night sleeper so I have decided its pointless for us to center our weekends around her schedule when she is just going to wake up in the night no matter what. I think that's usually how it goes by the time you get to #4.
She loves her brothers. She lights up when any of them enter the room. Her official nickname is Sissy. She also loves water. She loves to swim and splash. She also doesn't mind participating in family rides which is such a relief.
She crawls and stands and cruises and is growing up way too fast. I swear today she said "night night" and if she really wants out of her bed she will call her "mama".
