I just wanted to apologize for the craziness of my last blog. It is all over the place and Brian says it is full of grammars tidal errors, that I am probably not going to fix today. I have been very upset this week as I spent time doing research on the CC. It bothered me at a level that I hadn't experienced in a long time. I think this is my political roots coming out and getting fired up as they have been numb for sometime now. I blame "Newsroom" too. They make me want to share the truth that is often kept secret or looked over. I also want to be a better informed citizen. Who knew a TV show could light a fire in you? Lol.
Sorry again. Someday I will conquer the IPad and things will layout better, but for now I hope you got the point....
I also want to re-state that I think one of the great things in America is freedom of choice. We can choose public or private or homeschool and we all will choose differently. That doesn't make any of us wrong. Brian and I will only answer for our family. I judge no on who supports Common Core or even likes it. That is great for you. I don't want people to think its my way or the highway because that would suck. You make your choice. I will make mine and we will live in harmony, judgement free!
Until I just read this I didn't even know what the term "common core" meant. Now I just stayed up WAY too late learning more about it. Thanks for bringing it to light. I've got more questions for you.
